After being selected by the Ministry of Education as a Meister high school in the horse industry field, we have been operating a horse industry and a second class since 2014, educating 40 students per grade. We receive support from the government for textbook development, teacher training, and budgeting, and together with the Korea Racing Authority, we are building networks with leading companies in the horse industry and conducting overseas training programs.As a supervisor in the Vocational Education Division of the Education Bureau at the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education, I was interested in specialized high schools in the Jeonbuk region and employment issues.

Compared to three years ago, the horses have increased from 25 to 71, and I handle everything myself, from breeding to all management. We have also nearly doubled the number of teachers, sending them for training and helping them obtain various instructor qualifications, so they can work as professional educators cultivating specialized personnel. At the beginning of 2013, I was selected as a recommended candidate for appointment through the principal’s open recruitment system, and when I took office in March, I carried a sense of responsibility.On October 1, 2013, my first year in office, we were designated as an institution for training specialized personnel in the horse industry, and I went on a three-week training trip with students to Lyon, France, where the Horse Industry Expo was held. It made me reflect on the education our students need and the teaching methods of a vocational school.Specialized high schools that combine equestrian and horse racing are hard to find even on a global scale. Our school was once on the verge of closure, with only seven students per class, but after transitioning into a specialized high school, it established its initial foundation and is now regarded as an exemplary model of advanced education.

And when I went on a horse, I thought I wanted to try it, so I started riding it every weekend as a hobby. My wife had been an equestrian for several years when I was a student. I've been working very hard over the years, so when I was playing D-class, my wife ran S-class. I'm not currently a player. My daughter is a senior in high school, and she's a dressage training player at the Valios Horseback Riding Club. It was a very short period of time. Previously, it was just a cafe, but the walls were opened and widened for a little to display the paintings. I thought that would be more colorful. I simply drew it because I liked the animal, but there are people who attach interpretations to it. I just drew it because I wanted to attract 'wild' and 'the power of nature'. There are many paintings of horses running in the field. It is the same for ancient books and foreign paintings. In particular, oriental painting draws many horses running in the field. However, it was not fun to draw horses running in the same field. Horses are animals that like to run in the field and run well, but there was no tension and nothing much when they were flattened on the painting in one dimension.

We should be able to maintain a minimum life through work activities, but we try to forget about pure literature and not think about it. That's why I started literature. Originally, I wrote poetry in middle school. At that time, there was a magazine called 'academy', and it was the only magazine during the Korean War. Poets were published through 'academy', and they were elected in one or two places. Hwang Dong-gyu and Ma Jong-ki, who are poets, are alumni who were active through 'academy'. As I did this and that for my life, novels became my main focus. But now, people don't read novels, so I don't write them well. People don't read books, so they don't sell and the publishing industry is in recession. When I was young, I used to write with passion and willpower, but the problem is that books are not sold, so they are not helpful to life at all.
