From Horse Racing Culture Newspaper to KRJ Broadcasting, Horse Industry Journal, and Perfect Today Horse Racing, it has steadily grown across various areas related to the horse industry, and their tireless efforts to deliver valuable and accurate information are truly admirable. As someone working in the horse industry, it also fills me with pride.I don't think dedicating 19 years to a single field is an easy feat. The content and fields conveyed over that time are likely diverse and endless. I am confident that these elements collectively serve as a compass for shaping Korean language culture and leading the horse industry.

Due to rapid aging and labor shortages in rural areas, the government is working to reduce the burden of purchasing agricultural machinery and increase its utilization through agricultural machinery rental service centers. However, Representative Park Wan-joo explained the background for the forum, saying, "The number of agricultural machines at the rental business center that have been left unused past their service life is increasing every year, leading to a decline in the efficiency of the rental program," and added, "Farmers are complaining about issues such as restrictions on the range of machines they can use, short rental periods, and a surge in demand for the same model during the off-season, highlighting problems in management and operation."

With growing awareness emphasizing increased national income and quality of life, we hope that the development of equestrian sports, recognized as a healthy leisure activity, will help overcome the limitations of the existing horse racing industry, and we ask many horse racing fans to show their interest. We hope that by improving productivity across the horse industry and expanding the equestrian base, our country can emerge as a leading nation in equestrianism, and we wish for Racing Media to participate as a partner in this effort.

With more horses of good pedigree, we can also expect strong results.Recently, the composition of visitors to the racecourse has become more diverse, including not only horse racing fans but also families accompanied by young children and young people visiting with partners or friends. I think it is currently in the process of becoming a healthy leisure sport. To bring about greater change, rather than focusing solely on horse racing, using horses as a medium for the general public to watch and enjoy is also a viable approach. Ordinary people should be able to come and go naturally and without hesitation.

As a company leading horse culture for the development of the horse industry, Racing Media once again represents the Korea Equestrian Federation in congratulating you as a comprehensive horse industry media outlet that delights the eyes and ears of viewers and readers with diverse content.I believe horse racing and equestrianism share many commonalities through horses, making them industries that can support each other. One enjoys watching a third party run in a dream, while the other experiences it firsthand; I think both are forms of love sports.

Since 2016, it has been responsible for promoting the successful implementation and establishment of the Riding Competitiveness Certification System, an important initiative for popularization and standardization, using various in-house media tools to improve public perception of the horse industry. In addition, to correct misconceptions, we were the first horse-related organization to hold a meaningful festival at Seoul City Hall Plaza themed around horses, promoting the value of the horse industry in walking together with society under

While some European countries, such as Ireland, have regulations requiring a portion of prize money to be paid, Korea's treatment is relatively fair.'Champ Line' didn't run in the last race, but he has been consistently performing well in the first division, so I have high hopes for him. Among the second-generation horses, 'Yeonghui Era' and 'Gyeongju’s Bucket' are drawing attention. 'Younghee Era' is a horse that can perform well going forward with a 2-0 record in the third race, and 'Gyeongju’s Bucket Hat' is also a horse that continues to develop, so their futures are promising. Wishimiruk is also on a two-game winning streak in the second team and is now playing in the first team, so there is a chance. Although 'Party Again' and 'Invincible Wonderful' are only three years old, they are already capable enough to be considered first-class, as they are currently on a break.

Based on the already planned Saemangeum Horse Industry Complex, we look forward to the active cooperation and support of related organizations and the government in reflecting the Saemangeum Racehorse Joint Production and Development Complex—a national project promoted by the association—to be included in the national agenda, so that we can create a joint production, breeding, and sales complex for racehorses, drastically reduce operating costs, and foster the production and development of high-quality racehorses to promote the sustainable development of racehorse breeders and Korean horse racing.

Acting Director Kim graduated from the Department of Public Administration at University of Seoul, earned a master's degree from University of Seoul's Graduate School of Business, and obtained a Ph.D. in Sports, Culture, and Lottery Policy from Seoul National University of Science and Technology last August. During his 30 years at the Korea Racing Authority, he researched the expansion of customer service, the internet betting industry, and issues related to gambling industry regulation and illegal gambling. Served as Director of General Affairs, Director of the Business Division, Director of the Off-track Betting Division, Branch Manager, and Head of the Fair Horse Racing Headquarters. This is the first case of a Grade 1 executive being appointed as a head of a division-level department since the related regulations were revised at the end of 2016.

If conditions are favorable in the future and the association takes the lead in nurturing the next generation, active support is needed.Ideally, as in advanced countries, various support measures and systems should be in place to restructure the auction market to focus on first-generation horses. Inland horses are making efficient use of the pasture at LetsRun Farm Jangsu. Riding training has become possible regardless of weather conditions on the newly completed 400-meter indoor track at LetsRun Farm Jangsu earlier this year.

Despite these efforts by the horse racing community, various new regulations are being introduced that are not seen in other horse racing countries. This situation is concerning, as it undermines the racing community's efforts to modernize the sport. Moreover, the many stalled and regrettable aspects of the innovation plan for change and reform that the Korea Racing Authority has been ambitiously pursuing are also holding back the development of horse racing due to collective selfishness. In response, we urge the horse racing community to unite in addressing this issue,

I actually started my career as a trainer when I debuted in Malaysia in 2010, but I have been connected with horses and living with them for quite a long time.Korean horse racing is showing a great deal of progress right now. Even compared to three years ago, the horses’ language, the trainers’ techniques, and the jockeys’ riding abilities have improved significantly. It can be said that the overall level of Korean horse racing has improved. What is especially encouraging is that excellent foreign stallions are being introduced. Recently, the Korea Racing Authority and racehorse producers have been importing high-quality stallions from the United States, which will also greatly contribute to the development of Korean horse racing.

Once again, I would like to express my gratitude to CEO Kim Moon-young of the Horse Racing Culture Newspaper, as well as all the staff and officials for their hard work.Currently, Korean horse racing is setting a direction to enter the ranks of advanced racing to make a new leap forward. Recently, the Pukyong-bu-gyeongju horse "Triple Nine" achieved a remarkable feat by competing closely with top foreign racehorses in the Godolphin Mile, one of the world's premier races at the Dubai World Cup, while Mainstay secured victory in the Dubai World Cup preliminaries.

LetsRun Farm or local government trail courses would also receive strong support. And those efforts can not only expand the base of equestrianism but also return as reinvestment for the industry.Starting this fall semester, Sejong University's Graduate School of Industry will launch the country's first master's program in the 'Horse Industry.' We ask many people involved in the horse industry to take interest and participate. I believe that if master's program experts are produced with the active support of the horse industry sector,

Each semester, I participate in a two-week riding experience at the Korea Racing Authority’s equestrian academy. The Korea Racing Authority also seems uninterested in bringing together CEOs and opinion leaders who could serve as pioneers in promoting equestrianism. That's something I really can't understand. Regardless of funding, even offering in-depth programs or special lectures to these groups would attract many equestrian culture CEO alumni and produce significant results.Support must also be provided in full and with full backing.

As a supervising professor, I was on the front lines to ensure students could attend equestrian classes safely and properly, so I gradually internalized these skills through hands-on experience.Just as business leaders contributed to the growth of golf, they must take the lead in revitalizing the culture of equestrian consumption. It is regrettable that the horse industry shows no interest in the fact that the participants of the equestrian culture CEO program are composed of such opinion leaders. It would be great if they could encourage and support one another for the advancement of the horse industry.

Just as entrepreneurs contributed to the growth of golf, they could have played a leading role in promoting equestrianism, but the horse industry is showing no interest, which is regrettable. As mentioned earlier, don’t speak negatively of other riding centers; instead, find your own unique characteristics and give them a distinct identity. In the mobile era, simply saying we are the best riding center to consumers who choose everything in the palm of their hand is not enough. What matters more is how much service is provided with the consumer in mind.

The consumer market needs to be consumer-centered for it to thrive, but currently, the equestrian industry is centered on riding facilities rather than consumers.Whether it’s hiring former athletes as instructors, prioritizing horses, or focusing on facilities and atmosphere,it is not consumer-centered.Other leisure sports, including golf, are already breaking away from those past images.Facilities are being developed with the customer in mind, and events, programs, and communication services are being implemented, but the equestrian industry remains stuck in the past.

test008

Golf, considered a nearby leisure sport, makes good use of this. In the past, golf instructors would pressure their clients by boasting that they were former players while teaching. However, as golf became more popular and widespread, the market grew and competition intensified. In addition, as consumers’ understanding of golf has improved, the industry has shifted from focusing on brands to a more customer-centric approach. The equestrian industry could do better by paying a little more attention and following suit, but they are not making such efforts.

There is no special secret. Fortunately, I think I met some wonderful owners and horse trainers. If there is a secret to my success, it seems to be that I met wonderful people who have helped me a lot around me. Our group uses an Irish source called 'Red Mill,' which I personally like. The teaching style is no different from that of other groups. But I’ll keep training them consistently. Other Korean squads take two weeks off or work in intervals, but our Demon King’s Guard starts training immediately after just 2 to 3 days.

Relevant organizations should establish standards for industry standardization, and educational institutions such as schools should ensure that standardized services are provided to consumers through the development of active educational programs. Only then can the overall image of the horse industry improve and continue to develop. When you visit a riding club, they are quick to belittle others, claiming they are the best. But that's just self-sabotage. Rather, they should start by improving basic facilities like changing rooms and showers,
