Our students are truly amazing, too. Starting the day at 5 a.m., they care for, train, and voluntarily engage with the horses until 9 p.m. Not only during after-school activities, but also on weekends, they sometimes voluntarily choose not to go home and stay at school. At schools, we spare no effort in providing various welfare programs, benefits, and support for students who work hard. The vast majority of students are satisfied and are living their school life.Because the age limit for taking qualification exams related to the horse industry is 18, even though I clearly have the ability, I still can’t even take the exam. I’ve heard that parents have been demanding from the time students first enroll that the age limit be lowered to 18, and that they have even filed complaints with the National Petition System.

Novel manuscript fees are poor, so manuscript fees alone cannot make a living. For such reasons, not only me but also many writers have side jobs, such as attending school to give lectures or serving as an editor of a publishing company. I wrote novels, did this and that, and worked in the movie industry. As I loved movies so much, I started collecting videos, but as it became known, a media company asked me for a "movie column." I had to write a story about what I saw in the movie, but it was much easier than writing a novel. After writing a novel like that, I wrote a movie column for 2-3 years.

We will directly request the Korea-America Scholarship Foundation and plan to invite native-speaking instructors starting in August as well.Since it is a public school, it is a “dream school” where all programs are provided free of charge. The facilities, infrastructure, and curriculum are at the highest level, but I believe that despite this outward development, the qualitative improvement of the classes is still insufficient. Since being designated as a Meister high school, students’ levels have been rising, but because practical classes are conducted alongside theory classes, I feel sorry seeing them struggle during theory lessons. This is also why, starting this year, we have increased the emphasis on basic physical fitness during the interview process when selecting students.

October, when autumn leaves start to turn red, is the most emotional time of the year. A collection of poems can be found on the empty side behind the colorful fall scenery. In October, the month of culture, we prepared a project to listen to stories of artists dealing with culture and art works based on horses. First of all, we met Lee Je-ha, a veteran novelist, poet, painter and singer. Unlike other works, he often uses horses, but he uses static words rather than words. I tried to shed new light on the words that he viewed through his creative activities in all areas, including literature and art.

Compared to three years ago, the horses have increased from 25 to 71, and I handle everything myself, from breeding to all management. We have also nearly doubled the number of teachers, sending them for training and helping them obtain various instructor qualifications, so they can work as professional educators cultivating specialized personnel. It has built infrastructure and educational programs that are envied by officials from advanced horse industry countries, making it a cradle of professional training even better than universities.All projects to expand related facilities such as horse stables, horse yards, and stable rooms will be completed this year. We have efficiently reorganized the curriculum and are focusing on strengthening the quality of theoretical classes.

We receive support from the government for textbook development, teacher training, and budgeting, and together with the Korea Racing Authority, we are building networks with leading companies in the horse industry and conducting overseas training programs.As a supervisor in the Vocational Education Division of the Education Bureau at the Jeonbuk Provincial Office of Education, I was interested in specialized high schools in the Jeonbuk region and employment issues.

At the beginning of 2013, I was selected as a recommended candidate for appointment through the principal’s open recruitment system, and when I took office in March, I carried a sense of responsibility.On October 1, 2013, my first year in office, we were designated as an institution for training specialized personnel in the horse industry, and I went on a three-week training trip with students to Lyon, France, where the Horse Industry Expo was held. It made me reflect on the education our students need and the teaching methods of a vocational school.Specialized high schools that combine equestrian and horse racing are hard to find even on a global scale. Our school was once on the verge of closure, with only seven students per class, but after transitioning into a specialized high school, it established its initial foundation and is now regarded as an exemplary model of advanced education.

Whether it is an assistant teacher or a horse manager, we should gather and come up with the best plan to make it hard to understand why we are going on strike. Everyone did not sincerely engage in negotiations for their own benefit. It is not just anyone who is to blame, but all of them are to blame. The horse society, assistant teachers, and horse managers are all to blame. There should never be a strike. For the development of horse racing, everyone has to make little concessions and come up with good plans to resolve the problem as soon as possible.

Excessive interference can create a situation where they touch each other's pride, and mutual trust does not build at all. That's why I tend not to interfere at all. However, there is one thing that can be regarded as interference, and this is the part where horses are fed. I always talk about that when I go to a bar room, I believe that whether it's good or bad, you have to eat well to run well. I leave everything else to the assistant teachers freely. It is up to the assistant teachers to decide who to pick up the rider and how to train them. I don't know exactly why the strike was decided, but I think the strike itself is wrong.
