With more horses of good pedigree, we can also expect strong results.Recently, the composition of visitors to the racecourse has become more diverse, including not only horse racing fans but also families accompanied by young children and young people visiting with partners or friends. I think it is currently in the process of becoming a healthy leisure sport. To bring about greater change, rather than focusing solely on horse racing, using horses as a medium for the general public to watch and enjoy is also a viable approach. Ordinary people should be able to come and go naturally and without hesitation.

As a supervising professor, I was on the front lines to ensure students could attend equestrian classes safely and properly, so I gradually internalized these skills through hands-on experience.Just as business leaders contributed to the growth of golf, they must take the lead in revitalizing the culture of equestrian consumption. It is regrettable that the horse industry shows no interest in the fact that the participants of the equestrian culture CEO program are composed of such opinion leaders. It would be great if they could encourage and support one another for the advancement of the horse industry.

test008

Just as entrepreneurs contributed to the growth of golf, they could have played a leading role in promoting equestrianism, but the horse industry is showing no interest, which is regrettable. As mentioned earlier, don’t speak negatively of other riding centers; instead, find your own unique characteristics and give them a distinct identity. In the mobile era, simply saying we are the best riding center to consumers who choose everything in the palm of their hand is not enough. What matters more is how much service is provided with the consumer in mind.

test008

The consumer market needs to be consumer-centered for it to thrive, but currently, the equestrian industry is centered on riding facilities rather than consumers.Whether it’s hiring former athletes as instructors, prioritizing horses, or focusing on facilities and atmosphere,it is not consumer-centered.Other leisure sports, including golf, are already breaking away from those past images.Facilities are being developed with the customer in mind, and events, programs, and communication services are being implemented, but the equestrian industry remains stuck in the past.

test008

Golf, considered a nearby leisure sport, makes good use of this. In the past, golf instructors would pressure their clients by boasting that they were former players while teaching. However, as golf became more popular and widespread, the market grew and competition intensified. In addition, as consumers’ understanding of golf has improved, the industry has shifted from focusing on brands to a more customer-centric approach. The equestrian industry could do better by paying a little more attention and following suit, but they are not making such efforts.

hile some European countries, such as Ireland, have regulations requiring a portion of prize money to be paid, Korea's treatment is relatively fair.'Champ Line' didn't run in the last race, but he has been consistently performing well in the first division, so I have high hopes for him. Among the second-generation horses, 'Yeonghui Era' and 'Gyeongju’s Bucket' are drawing attention. 'Younghee Era' is a horse that can perform well going forward with a 2-0 record in the third race, and 'Gyeongju’s Bucket Hat' is also a horse that continues to develop, so their futures are promising. Wishimiruk is also on a two-game winning streak in the second team and is now playing in the first team, so there is a chance. Although 'Party Again' and 'Invincible Wonderful' are only three years old, they are already capable enough to be considered first-class, as they are currently on a break.

By consistently doing training, I feel I’m getting injured less than if I were pushing myself too hard with wet training in short bursts before races. Since trainers Kim Young-kwan, Baek Gwang-yeol, and Ahn Woo-sung are doing well these days, I will work hard too.I don't know much about the overall system of LetsRun Park Seoul. However, at LetsRun Park Seoul, the stable is operated at the association level, while at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam, it is run by individuals, so Busan seems more competitive. Seoul has a small and tight feel to its main roads, whereas Busan’s main roads feel much larger and more linear.

Relevant organizations should establish standards for industry standardization, and educational institutions such as schools should ensure that standardized services are provided to consumers through the development of active educational programs. Only then can the overall image of the horse industry improve and continue to develop. When you visit a riding club, they are quick to belittle others, claiming they are the best. But that's just self-sabotage. Rather, they should start by improving basic facilities like changing rooms and showers,

Whether you are abroad or in a regional area, as long as you have the will, you can learn. If you want to learn about the Korean language industry, you are not limited by spatial constraints, even in countries like China and Southeast Asia. Since the courses can be conducted from a distance, instructors currently teaching can earn their master's degrees without having to come to the classroom. And it is also possible to graduate by completing major courses instead of a thesis. The master's program in the 'Horse Industry,' launching this fall,

Of course not. We will invite top experts from the horse industry to conduct the classes. Someone who has both skill and reputation. Since it is a graduate program, it would likely be for someone with a master's degree or higher. Some may question the absence of a curriculum. This may be a point of misunderstanding for some, but the basic curriculum of our graduate school is well established. It is well structured, segmented into marketing, services, distribution, facility management, events, and more. They are integrating the 'horse industry' to specialize in this.

A leader can be either a former athlete or an instructor. It is essential for those who want to run a business. Through advanced courses in the master's program, students can further develop their expertise, and after completing graduate school, they can apply what they have learned in the field.

For an industry to develop, the number of experts in that field must increase. In that regard, establishing a graduate master's program specialized in the 'word industry' is highly meaningful. The major in Horse Industry Management comprehensively covers a wide range of fields, including professional and recreational sports, rehabilitation, facilities, equipment, fashion, and tourism. The training focuses on horses, covering topics from marketing and services to rehabilitation training using medicine. The more applicants for the 'Horse Industry Management' major there are, the more courses tailored to the major will be added.

Starting this fall semester, the first master's program in the 'horse industry' in Korea will be launched. I led this effort while studying the Department of Sports Industry at Sejong University's Graduate School of Industry. The Department of Sports Industry offers four majors: Equine Industry Management, Sports Marketing, Sports Medicine, and Leisure Sports Tourism. I began to feel that I was truly blinded by the word, and that I wanted to develop the horse industry into a genuine industry.

Starting this September, the university will launch the country's first master's program specializing in the 'horse industry' at the graduate level.
