Since my donation activities were publicized through various media outlets, I feel that I have been seen as a representative of Korea.Rather than insisting that donations must be made in horse names, I think it is more appropriate to share with the world those who are already somewhat financially stable and have a certain level of income. Famous philanthropists such as the American steel magnate Carnegie and the world-renowned investor Warren Buffett actively donate. They said they believed the wealth they had gained was a blessing from God.

Regarding the Daejeon branch, the Daejeon Participatory Autonomy Citizens’ Coalition held a press conference on the 8th in front of the Korea Racing Authority’s Daejeon branch in Wolpyeong-dong, Seo-gu, Daejeon, calling for the withdrawal of the expansion plan for the Wolpyeong-dong off-track betting center and urging the withdrawal of the Daejeon branch expansion plan and relocation to the outskirts. In their statement, they argued that since the Daejeon branch was established, citizens have been exposed to the risk of gambling addiction and are suffering serious infringements on their living environment, such as traffic congestion caused by illegal parking on weekends and the deterioration of educational and residential environments due to the concentration of entertainment facilities. They demanded the relocation to the outskirts or closure, but accused the Korea Racing Authority of instead trying to expand it.

While engaging in these activities, I achieved great success and earned substantial prize money, which led me to feel that I should do something meaningful on the same level as my existing public service work, so I actively participated in donations.Although the horses are said to be owned by the owner, I believe the owner's role is not significant in the actual process of earning the prize money. Of course, selecting and investing in horses is important, but I feel that the complex outcome is actually the result of the contributions made by trainers,

Jung Young-sik, regarded as a leading mazoo in Korea, is famous for conducting donation activities under the names of words such as 'Dangdae Bulpae' and 'Indie Band.' It is not merely a matter of a few donations, but through more than a decade of sustained giving, it is also contributing to establishing the right attitude of humility and practicing the spirit of 'noblesse oblige.' He is also well known to fans and the public as Majo. During the heyday of artists like Jamin,Dangdae Bulpae, and Indie Band, who were making remarkable records and enjoying great success,

Therefore, Jeju Special Self-Governing Province stated that it is negotiating with the government after submitting a revised opinion to the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, requesting an amendment to the Enforcement Rules of the Grassland Act so that rural-style equestrian facilities can be used without obtaining a separate grassland-use permit.Jeju Special Self-Governing Province’s amendment was introduced to ease this, because most equestrian facilities in Jeju are set up on grassland, but obtaining permits for converting grassland is complicated and not easy.Jeju Special Self-Governing Province expects that if these revised opinions are accepted, it will be possible to obtain a permit for equestrian facilities without a prior pasture conversion permit, thereby contributing not only to income growth for horse-breeding farms within Jeju but also for horse-breeding farms nationwide.

Although the betting ticket sales union went on strike on race day demanding changes to wages and employment arrangements, there was no major disruption in the ticket sales operations. When collective bargaining with the Korea Racing Authority broke down, the Labor Union of Racecourse Ticket Vendors of the KRA Korea Racing Association went on strike, and on the 22nd, about 300 ticket vendors refused to come to work.At some off-track locations, some ticket sellers who had more than 50% attendance were refusing to come to work, causing confusion at Seoul Racecourse Park and various off-track locations. To avoid this, free admission was implemented, all Korea Racing Authority staff waited at the ticket counters, and race broadcasts encouraged the use of self-service ticket machines.

Our group uses an Irish source called 'Red Mill,' which I personally like. The teaching style is no different from that of other groups. But I’ll keep training them consistently. Other Korean squads take two weeks off or work in intervals, but our Demon King’s Guard starts training immediately after just 2 to 3 days. By consistently doing training, I feel I’m getting injured less than if I were pushing myself too hard with wet training in short periods before a race. Since trainers Kim Young-kwan, Baek Gwang-yeol, and Ahn Woo-sung are doing well these days, I will work hard too.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs expects that if Jeju Special Self-Governing Province faithfully implements the detailed action plans under the Horse Industry Promotion and Development Plan, it will play a leading role in fostering Korea’s horse industry and will also make a significant contribution to stabilizing horse supply and demand.Minister Lee Dong-pil said, “At a time when FTAs are expanding, the horse industry can create new sources of income for agriculture and rural areas, promote exchanges between urban and rural communities, and develop into advanced-country-style industries such as tourism, leisure (equestrian) industry, and healing industry.” He added, “The designation of the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Horse Industry Special Zone carries great significance in that it will establish the foundational infrastructure for the future development of the horse industry.”

However, at LetsRun Park Seoul, the stable is operated at the association level, while at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam, it is run by individuals, so Busan seems more competitive. Seoul has a small and tight feel to its main roads, whereas Busan’s main roads feel much larger and more linear. There is no special secret. Fortunately, I think I met some wonderful owners and horse trainers. If there is a secret to my success, it seems to be that I met wonderful people who have helped me a lot around me.

Yeonghui Era' and 'Gyeongju’s Bucket' are drawing attention. 'Younghee Era' is a horse that can perform well going forward with a 2-0 record in the third race, and 'Gyeongju’s Bucket Hat' is also a horse that continues to develop, so their futures are promising. Wishimiruk is also on a two-game winning streak in the second team and is now playing in the first team, so there is a chance. Although 'Party Again' and 'Invincible Wonderful' are only three years old, they are already capable enough to be considered first-class, as they are currently on a break.

First of all, I regret the recent horse trainer incident that occurred at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam. The working hours of speech therapists abroad are also very similar to those in Korea. However, since they receive a portion of the prize money, the treatment of Korean horse trainers is relatively good. While some European countries, such as Ireland, have regulations requiring a portion of prize money to be paid, Korea's treatment is relatively fair.'Champ Line' didn't run in the last race, but he has been consistently performing well in the first division,

As the year-end approached and with the closure of Seoul Racecourse Park approaching, the number of horse racing fans who visited the racecourse and off-track betting locations actually increased slightly compared to the previous week, yet the ticketing operations were carried out normally without major disturbances. The Korea Racing Authority and the Betting Ticket Sales Union held a total of 15 main and working-level negotiations starting August 16, during which they negotiated 110 union demands and 78 KRA demands, but failed to narrow their differences. Then, after negotiations continued through mediation by the Central Labor Relations Commission on December 15, the talks ultimately broke down without reaching an agreement, and the Betting Ticket Sales Union eventually filed a strike notification on the 20th.

In most countries, gambling by predicting race outcomes through betting is enjoyed as a form of leisure. It is also common to see people who visit the racetrack for a weekend outing with their families casually placing bets.It seems that the Korea Racing Authority is doing a good job of strengthening competitiveness right now. For example, they are doing a good job of hosting international competitions like the 'Korea Cup' in Korea or sending Korea's top racehorses on tours to places such as Dubai and Singapore. If we increase contact with international horse racing in this way,

Once one of the animals closest to humans, it has now, under the influence of the Industrial Revolution, given up much of its former role and become confined to activities such as horse racing and horseback riding. In 2011, the government enacted the Horse Industry Promotion Act as a measure to prevent the deterioration of the rural economy caused by FTAs, aiming to develop it as a new growth engine for the rural economy.

Recently, the composition of visitors to the racecourse has become more diverse, including not only horse racing fans but also families accompanied by young children and young people visiting with partners or friends.I think it is currently in the process of becoming a healthy leisure sport. To bring about greater change, rather than focusing solely on horse racing, using horses as a medium for the general public to watch and enjoy is also a viable approach.Ordinary people should be able to come and go naturally and without hesitation.

My entire family has deep ties to horses. My grandfather and father worked as trainers in Ireland, and other family members also have horse-related jobs such as trainers and jockeys. I actually started my career as a trainer when I debuted in Malaysia in 2010, but I have been connected with horses and living with them for quite a long time.Korean horse racing is showing a great deal of progress right now. Even compared to three years ago, the horses’ language, the trainers’ techniques, and the jockeys’ riding abilities have improved significantly.

Food and Rural Affairs to amend the Enforcement Rules of the Grassland Act so that equestrian facilities may be installed within pastureland designated for ranching.Jeju Special Self-Governing Province explained that it proposed this in order to establish clear grounds for installing equestrian facilities and to develop the horse industry as a new growth engine industry by linking it with the primary industry and the tertiary industries such as tourism, leisure, and sports. The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food is currently pushing to revise the Enforcement Rules of the Pasture Act so that horse-related facilities, livestock experience facilities, farm landscape facilities, and rest facilities—essential infrastructure for livestock farming—are included within the scope of facilities currently designated for horses, so that they can be used without obtaining a separate pasture conversion permit, but equestrian facilities are not included.

And confident that Korean horse racing could develop, I boldly chose to go to Korea.I don't think there is much difference. If we had to compare, there is a slight difference in the main text. In Europe and Malaysia, there are many races held on turf in addition to those on sandy courses. Korea still does not have a main grass track. If that is the difference. There are also slight differences in the racing style. In Korea, there are many attempts to take the lead early in the race. I try to stand at the front whenever possible.

Trainer Thomas, who made his debut in the domestic circuit in 2015 as the third foreign trainer at LetsRun Park Pukyong, has now entered his third year as a Korean trainer. Three years may seem long or short, but during that time, having seen, heard, and experienced it firsthand on the front lines of Korean horse racing, you have surely gained a solid understanding of the sport. Moreover, his ranking among the top trainers at LetsRun Park Pukyong is also proof that he is already well acquainted with Korean horse racing.

Since the enactment of the Horse Industry Promotion Act, other local governments that only belatedly entered the race to develop the horse industry were unable to meet the basic requirements, so they began demanding the designation of a special zone combining two or three basic local governments, or a regional special zone at the provincial level. At the suggestion of these local governments, the Regulatory Reform Committee of the Prime Minister’s Office recommended the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to ease the related requirements, but the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs announced that it would prepare a plan to relax the designation requirements for the horse industry special zone starting in 2014, following its designation as the first horse industry special zone in 2013.The designation requirements for a special horse industry zone at the end of 2013 demand a substantially large-scale basic horse industry foundation within a limited scope.
