For example, about 60% of the cost for building a livestock barn is supported by the provincial government. However, many primary industry producers do not even receive that support because they lack money. If the province provides 50 million won in support, farmers must cover about 50 to 60 million won out of pocket, and for horse farmers who lack funds, even that becomes a heavy burden. That said, since the price of horses isn't rising and is still falling, there is a lot of concern.

If given the opportunity, we are willing to host international competitions as well, beyond domestic ones. Malaysian international judges attended this tournament and responded positively to Hallama. Through exchanges with many equestrian professionals overseas, we also aim to create opportunities for Hallama to be exported abroad. All of this ultimately points toward the development of the domestic horse industry and is also a way to increase the income of Hanlama-producing farmers.

Next year, we plan to continue focusing on pedigree establishment and move forward in earnest, just as we did this year. We are currently preparing to open a call for operators for a horse training hub center within the Jeju Livestock Promotion Institute, and if selected, it is expected to accelerate the establishment of Hallama’s pedigree.
