The Let's Run Foundation is a social contribution foundation established to create a society that fulfills social responsibilities as a public company and lives together by raising funds from donations from the Korean Horse Association and donations from executives and employees. It was established on March 18, 2014. Previously, the Korean Horse Association carried out various donations and social return activities in the social contribution team, but the establishment was promoted due to the need for a more active and professional foundation. The purpose of the foundation is to contribute to revitalizing society as a whole, promoting people's welfare, and enhancing the status of the horse industry by supporting job creation projects, talent development projects, cultural prosperity projects, welfare promotion projects for the vulnerable, and horse industry image improvement projects.

While horseback riding, I began to connect directly with the horse. As I touched and rode the horses myself, I found myself unknowingly captivated by their charm. I always read books and watched videos about horses, and I searched for various educational programs, nurturing a dream of raising a horse. After graduating from university, I happened to get a contract position at Jeju Fattening Farm. While working, I saw and learned a great deal about horses and acquired knowledge. After the contract ended, I began seriously raising the horse.

But in reality, besides horse management, there are many tasks to do such as pasture management, facility management, and government support, so there are many difficulties. At present, I am receiving help from my father and others around me who have extensive experience in horses.Because I am young, I have the advantage of being able to work with enthusiasm. I can work for my own words without fussing over this and that. I’m still far from enough, so I’m trying to gain as many diverse experiences as possible.

Mayon Eohos is continuously evolving now, and in the future, it will also play a role in popularizing horseback riding. I am also confident about this. However, I don’t know how long it will take. Over the past five years, a horse industry project was launched as a government policy. As far as I know, it first began between 2011 and 2012, and if the first five years were spent creating 500 equestrian venues and training specialized equestrian personnel as part of the initial project, it seems that the five-year plan for the future development of equestrianism is currently at a standstill.Therefore, I think we need to transform the drifting project into a virtuous cycle structure that can encompass everything, including the sales market.

Korean horse racing has undergone tremendous changes in a short period of time in terms of culture, and is still changing to a positive aspect. As the customer level has been upgraded, it is now necessary to inform horse racing customers as the subject who provides financial resources for social contribution projects, not gamblers. Since the Korean Horse Association, which is the parent company, is a public enterprise, the Let's Run Foundation's policy is set by the national government and the mission of the Korean Horse Association. However, the first horse racing in Korea was born to raise funds to encourage horse racing, and participants participated in horse racing to donate.

Compared to other cohorts, I’m not particularly overweight, so I don’t do separate weight management. I eat well and exercise consistently. I go to the gym and do strength-focused workouts. Also, to maintain a stable posture on the horse during races, I often ride a jockey’s bike.Thanks to fencing since I was young, it has been a great help to horse racing. The Let's Run Foundation, which celebrated its second anniversary on March 18, recruited Kim Hak-shin, former head of the Seoul Regional Headquarters, as the general secretary through a public offering at the end of February. Kim Hak-shin, a 59-year-old native of Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, graduated from the Department of Public Administration at Seoul City University and joined the Korean Horse Association in 1986. Since then, he has served as the head of major departments of the Korean Horse Association, including the head of the public relations team, the head of the horse racing cooperation team, the head of the Jeju business department, the head of the planning and coordination team, the head of the Busan and Gyeongnam regional headquarters, and the head of the Seoul regional headquarters, and retired at the retirement age in February this year. Secretary-General Kim was evaluated as an administrative expert with excellent practical experience and administrative ability when he was in office.
