Just as the saying “Send people to Seoul, send horses to Jeju” is being told like a bible, most of the racehorse production in Korea takes place in Jeju. The reality is that racehorse breeding in Korea is classified into Jeju and inland areas.However, Jeju, surrounded by the sea on all sides, is already showing signs of saturation at racehorse breeding farms. The reality of racehorse production, rushing toward mass supply, is causing fierce competition among breeding farms. In addition, the preference for private-bred mares has declined due to the concentration of high-priced mares at the Korea Racing Authority, while corporate-style production farms are emerging and small-scale production farms are facing difficulties.

We also plan to get consulting from experts and, if there are talented people, recruit them to work with us. There was a time when the Korea Racing Authority commissioned a sports marketing expert to conduct an analysis in an effort to develop ways to revitalize equestrian competitions. It was the 500th win he had dreamed of since his little jockey days. Sixteen years—falling off horses, getting hurt, and being torn apart, yet getting back up again.
