First, in addition to establishing and supporting a comprehensive plan for fostering the horse industry, there is also a role in guiding and supervising the Korea Racing Authority. When I thought of the Korea Racing Authority, I thought the judo and table tennis teams were famous, and that they did equestrian events. I came to know about the gambling industry when I went out onto the street. The real reason the state engages in the gambling industry is really nothing but money. I wonder whether this is really something the state should be doing.It would be nice if the horse industry does well. However, we need to consider whether raising funds through horse racing ultimately benefits the Korea Racing Authority.
