The Houghtons "Duchess" Half Plate camera - ready for use.

Two new lens boards were cut, stained and French polished to match the camera. One was fitted with a 1913 Carl Zeiss jena 165mm f6.3 Tessar, the second was screwed to a Thornton Pickard shutter, and fitted with a Wray 8"x5" lens, shown above. The focal length of the Wray lens is approx 12"/300mm.
