Bauchet B&W Reversal Processing

First Developer    
Part A    
Sodium Sulphite (anh) 50 g  
Hydroquinone 15 g  
Sodium Carbonate (anh) 10 g  
Potassium Bromide 8 g  
Water to 955 ml  
     
Part B    
Sodium Hydroxide 19g  
Water to 50ml  
     
Mix Parts A + B before use (1 litre) 19 Parts A + 1 Part B
     
Bleach Bath    
Water 750ml
   
Potassium Dichromate 6 g  
Sulphuric acid (conc) - see note 10 ml ADD THE SULPHURIC ACID DROP BY DROP TO THE 750ml WITH CARE.
Water to 1 litre  
     
Clearing Bath    

Sodium Sulphite (anhyd)

100 g  
Water to 1 litre  
     
Second Development    
Metol 2 g  
Sodium Sulphite (anhyd) 10 g  
Hydroquinone 6 g  
Sodium Carbonate (anhyd 25 g  
Potassium Bromide 2 g  
Water to 1 litre  
     
     
First Developer 20°C (68°F) 4-14 minutes however 8-10 minutes is a more appropriate starting point  
Wash 5 mins  
Bleach 3 - 5 minutes  
Wash 5 minutes in running water  
Clearing Bath 3 minutes  
Wash 30 sec6nds  
Re-exposure

Expose 1 min 75 watt bulb at 5ft/1.5 metres

 
Second Development To Finality (approx £ mins)  
Wash 30 seconds  
Fixer Fix in normal acid fixing bath.  
Wash 15 - 30 mins
